Looking Northwest over Vernonia

Our rental home is tucked into the trees that wind along the river - I guess if you reach the "O" you have gone a little too far. The Mill pond (you can see a speck of it through the trees while on our deck) is within walking distance. The distance around the mill pond is 1 mile so it is an easy ride or walk around the pond.

It is called a mill pond because it is a man made lake to put logs into for the lumber mill, which is no longer functioning.
